ACLU of New Mexico Online Screening

Join the ACLU of New Mexico, the ACLU of Arizona, and the ACLU Chapter at the UNM School of Law on Tuesday, October 19 at noon for a special panel discussion about the film and how we can resist militarization on the southern border and chart an approach that respects the rights and dignity of all people who live and travel through border communities.

The panel will include:

Eva Lewis, filmmaker

Amber Lee Ortega, a member of the O’odham Anti-Border Collective who was arrested last year for physically blocking wall construction and the decimation of the Hia C’ed O’odham sacred spring, Quitobaquito.

Jorge Rodriguez, former ACLU-NM organizer, border resident, and current law school student

Jenn Budd,  former Border Patrol agent and immigrant rights activist

Yvette Borja, border litigation attorney at the ACLU of Arizona
